Rain is something that no ski resorts ever wants, unless its summer. Snowpark, over the last 48 hours, has had a lot of rain. I was half expecting to arrive to mounds of snow where the jumps used to be, a washed away halfpipe and rails lying on their sides. But to my suprise everything was still there but severely water affected.

The lift is closed due to the water clogging the lift area. The snowpark team is trying as hard as possible to drain all the water to get the park up and running but I am sceptical on whether we will be skiing at all today.

The snowpark team trying to un-clog the lift area

I guess I will be hanging out in the woolshed at snow park with High speed internet for the day.

Stay tuned
