So yesterday was a pretty long day. My dad and I flew to Sydney to meet one o the best knee specialists in the country. It only took him 5 minutes to figure out what I had done and it wasn’t good.
Apparently I have torn my Acl and I will need surgery. All my other tendons, ligaments and cartilage are fine which I guess is a good thing.
I will be having surgery next Friday and my dad being the awesome person he is has decided to donate his hamstring for my Acl. I can’t thank my dad enough for this. He is a legend.
Due to the fact dad is donating his hamstring it should help me have a speedier recovery. With that being said I should be skiing again properly in December, just in time for comp season
I guess I will have to miss one Aussie season which is a bummer.
In Melbourne today so I’ll keep you guys updated more from now, I haven’t been updating because I wasn’t sure what had happened and how it would be fixed. But now I know!
