New Faces

So over the last week or so more and more people have been rolling into town to ski. The Norwegian slope team is here, Oscar Scherlin is here and I am picking PK Hunder up from the airport on Wednesday morning.

The Norwegians first day of riding was pretty bad weather but we still had fun on the rails. Oystein Braten on the first rail

The last week has been pretty intense. We have done a few early morning sessions just so we could beat the crowds up on the hill. It is one of the busiest times of the season here in Jindabyne so for perisher to let us ski early morning is amazing.

The park this year is definitely the best I have ever seen it. We have a triple jump line with two fun size jump up top and a 65ft jump at the bottom plus a super fun rail line down the skiers left.

I honestly feel the park here is better than what I have skied in NZ over the last few years, and for that reason I am flying to NZ for 1 week for the world cup and then straight back here to ski for the spring. The lap time on the chair here is just crazy and I feel like I am achieving a lot more, so why change that?

As you can see the weather cleared and it was EPIC. The view from the top of the park is rather nice

Your’s truly, switch 5 on the top jump

Unfortunately the weather is back and it looks like it will be here for the next few days. I am still going to try and ski some rails tomorrow even if the weather is horrible.

Looking forward to getting back on snow and shredding the park soon
