So I have been back in Jindabyne for the last few days as I had a few things to take care of here . Not much has happened and it has been nice to chill for the majority of the day.
It’s only a short trip home and then I am off again. As most of you are aware I have skied a lot over the last year, I had 3 weeks off in may between the end of last years northern hemisphere season and this years Australian season and a week off before I went on my latest New Zealand trip. Because I have skied so much and I feel like I have achieved/ learn’t a lot over this season, I have decided to take a 12 day break with Laura and to go somewhere completely disconnected from skiing and the cold weather I have become accustomed to.
We decided on going to Thailand. We are heading to Katahani beach resort just outside of Phuket and it looks absolutely amazing. Its is right on the beach, it has 8 pools and I am sure the food is going to be amazing. Tomorrow Laura and I will drive to Sydney for the night and then the following day we will be on our flight to Thailand.
I know that most people, who are training for the Olympics, might consider this a little stupid, but since I have spent so much time on snow, I feel I need a little break to look after my body and reset before this important season starts.
Looking forward to this adventure
