I am pretty sure I have touched down in paradise. I am currently sitting in my hotel looking after a little sun burn and reflecting on how amazing this place actually is. I was a little skeptical to come to Thailand in the first place and had no idea what to expect. But I can tell you that it’s absolutely amazing and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to.
Our routine is pretty relaxed. We wake up and head to breakfast (which by the way is epic), then we make our way over to the deck chairs that look over the ocean. The last two days we pretty much spent the whole day at the beach. We would sit in the sun until we would start melting and then make our way into the ocean and swim. The ocean is also the warmest water I have been in. I think it averages 27C which is ludicrous. Even though the water is so warm it’s still really refreshing since it is 32C or more each day with 90% humidity. Definitely the hottest place I have been to on earth.
It feels surreal to be in such a tropical place before the season kicks off but I am very glad I have come here. I needed to rest and have a little break from skiing, not only for my body, but also mentally.
Here are a bunch of pics from the first few days:
Tomorrow Laura and I are heading out on a little adventure. Not going to tell you what it is but I think it is going to be amazing. I’ll give you a clue = Snorkeling and jet boats……
Over and out from paradise,
