Coast to Coast

After a super long day flying from the east coast to the west coast, Laura and I finally made it to Whistler. It wasn’t all smooth sailing either. We flew Boston – Dallas – Vancouver and had a super tight connection in Dallas. Due to the fact our plane took off late in Boston, we only had about 15 or 20 minutes to get to out next flight. We figured out which gate we had to make it to (turns out it was the other end of the terminal) and both Laura and I ran faster than we thought was even possible for us! We ending up making it to our flight, which was going to be 4 hours long, and both of us felt like we had just finished a marathon and we were drenched in sweat. Not the best way to feel getting onto your next flight but still better than missing your flight ;)

We ended up making it to Whistler, along with all our bags (I have no Idea how they made it with such a short connection) and I am super stoked we are back here. I had my first day on the mountain yesterday and the park is super fun. It was pretty flat light so I couldn’t see too much yesterday but I still had a lot of fun.

Hopefully we get a few days of sun before the AFP world tour finals. I have a few tricks I’d like to do before the event and the big jumps here are looking really sick. If they are anything like they were over Christmas then I am sure I’m going to have a good time on them!

Over and out,
